Recently, we have been working hard on the Test Automation Course. We have completed the program, considering our graduates’ and teachers’ wishes.
Finally, we have decided to create two courses out of one! Let’s have a closer look.
WHY HAVE WE DONE THIS?
Technologies, solutions, approaches are changing rapidly within the sphere of information technology.
The same concerns requirements to test automation specialists.
We’ve analyzed the labor market and it turned out that the scope of the required skills for employment has changed significantly for the past two years.
QA Academy tutor, Sergey Senyuk, told us why it became necessary to change the Course:
‘The key factor is that the set of skills necessary for a successful career start has changed.
Previously specialists were to test graphical interface using Selenium tools. Today it’s important to know how to work with databases and frameworks. Therefore, we’ve decided to divide our course into two parts and satisfy the needs of those who just begin their path in automation and those who know the basics of developing test automation solutions’.
WHAT HAS CHANGED?
Now the full training cycle consists of two courses: Basic and Advanced Level Courses.
Test Automation: Basic Level Online Course
By completing the Course, students will receive a solid theoretical basis and understand the essence of test automation.
Professional testers’ software – Jira, Wiki, GitLab – will be used to let students dive deep into real working conditions.
All successful graduates will receive a certificate, as well as a pleasant bonus – a 7% discount for the next level.
Test Automation: Advanced Level Online Course
The Advanced Level Course is completely new. It is aimed at enhancing practical skills so that all graduates could land their first job fast. The program includes real-life projects as the best way to learn all automation specifics.
Students will grasp the following topics:
- Design pattern in automation,
- Automation of API and databases testing,
- Behavior-Driven Testing.
By the end of studies, students will develop their own automation frameworks, thus obtaining the first fully completed project to demonstrate to the future employer.
The most motivated graduates will be invited to complete internship in IT companies. Later on, chances high for them to be employed at the position of a Junior QA Automation Engineer.
Note: training in groups will take place in Russian only.
